She began to take teacher trainings to deepen her practice, and became certified to teach in 1993. Kim received her master's degree in education from Stanford University and was formerly a secondary and college science, bilingual, and anatomy instructor. Gina Kray
Gina discovered TriYoga in 1987 after adopting a vegan diet and learning that yoga would complement this choice. She knew there was a yoga center on New Street in Santa Cruz and decided to check it out not knowing that it was a TriYoga studio. It was an instant match. Gina had come hOMe. She went almost every day to classes, sometimes twice a day. It became her life and still is today. She was thrilled to see that TriYoga recommends the vegan diet. She has experienced
a profoundly high level of health and well being with the synergy of a 27-year daily practice including TriYoga flows, pranayama and meditation techniques, and a vegan diet. After working intensively and immersing herself in the flows she became certified in 1993
and began teaching TriYoga at the TriYoga Centers on New Street and Washington Street, as well as other venues in Santa Cruz. Later, as a senior-level teacher she led teacher-training programs. In 2008 she moved with her family to San Diego and pursued a degree
in nursing. She became inspired to bring TriYoga into the healthcare system. She is currently teaching classes at the Veterans Administration clinic in Oceanside, San Diego. She teaches patients with chronic disease. She also teaches at the VA in La Jolla,
San Diego where she works with patients recovering from substance abuse. In addition, she offers private and semi- private TriYoga classes and TriYoga teacher training in her home. She says, “Kaliji gives a priceless gift to all those blessed to discover and practice TriYoga. It is my privilege and honor to share its profound benefits with others.”
